The virtual Christianehøj has had a repaint and some new wallpaper. The former design was chosen to provide the best possible background for the photos in my album. For that reason, a neutral gray was selected as background colour – and used throughout the site for consistency. But to be honest, it looked quite boring.

Then I discovered Lightbox – a script, which displays photos on a dimmed background, no matter what colour the pages has. Watch it in action in the album. I think it looks cool – hurrah for Open source.

So, now there was no excuse for not making the website a bit more visually pleasing. That’s what I’ve tried, to the best of my modest abilities. Contrary to the real Christianehøj, writing on the wall is absolutely OK in this virtual version. So please make a comment if you have any remarks or suggestions for improvement.
